Important Information - FreeRTOS Interactive
The FreeRTOS Interactive site contains user contributed code, which is separate from
the official FreeRTOS code base. A separate page
provides information on the difference between officially supported FreeRTOS code and
user contributed code.
Using User Contributed Code
Terms and conditions
Contributed files are provided by the community in the hope that they will be useful.
You cannot use contributed files unless you agree that you use the software 'as is'.
Contributed files are provided WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied
warranties of NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. Real Time Engineers Ltd. disclaims all conditions and terms, be they
implied, expressed, or statutory.
By downloading files you are agreeing to accept
responsibility to ensure the files are not malicious in any way (for example,
to virus scan the files before use), and to absolve Real Time Engineers ltd. of
any responsibility or liability for inappropriate content (viruses, Trojans, worms,
intellectual property infringements, legal breaches, etc.).
Contributing Source Code to FreeRTOS
Terms and conditions
By uploading (contributing) code (as opposed to linking to code) you are agreeing for the copyright of
the portion of your upload that relates directly to the implementation
of the FreeRTOS kernel being assigned to Real Time Engineers Ltd. This
includes the portable layer files and any modification to the core
kernel files. You also acknowledge that all the contributed code will
be published in the Community Contributions section of the FreeRTOS site
under the standard FreeRTOS license.
Please do not upload any code
if either you cannot agree to and comply with these terms and conditions or if you are
not the current copyright owner.
Assigning the copyright is necessary to ensure there is a single point of ownership
for all the available code, which in turn makes it easier for end users to
include the code in their products. It does not mean you cannot credit yourself
as the authour, and it is never our intention to claim credit for other peoples work!
All contributions are gratefully received.
Uploading a contribution
Uploading (and therefore contributing) any code implies
your acceptance of the terms and conditions detailed immediately above.
To upload a port, demo, driver or other related code:
-
Create an account
for yourself if you don't already have one - then
log in.
-
Select the relevant forum from the list at the bottom of the
Community Contributions
page, then create a new forum topic. To ensure the forums are easy to navigate please
include both the processor and compiler name in the topic title.
-
Use the newly created topic to write as much as you can about how to use the code,
including how to build the code and which hardware it is configured to execute on.
-
Upload the code as a single .zip, .tar or similar archive file as the topic attachment.
An account is only required to post to the forums - you do not need an account to simply view a
forum or download existing code.
